Overview
Our Environmental Practice Group understands the environmental challenges facing today’s businesses and seeks to guide clients through increasingly complicated environmental and land use regulations. We have significant experience with the redevelopment of Brownfields, counseling clients on compliance with New Jersey’s Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA), the New Jersey Spill Compensation and Control Act (Spill Act), and CERCLA (Superfund), and obtaining permits and agency approvals for air and water discharges, wetlands delineation and mitigation projects, recycling, spill reporting, and underground storage tank removal.
In all of these areas, we draw upon our longstanding relationships with local, regional, and national environmental consulting firms to assist us. Combining their technical expertise with our legal expertise allows us to develop creative, well-rounded strategies at each site and achieve favorable results for our clients.
On regulatory matters, we routinely appear before and work closely with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the U.S. EPA, and municipal zoning and planning boards.
