Overview

Kathryn Dietrich Perreault is a Principal of the firm, Co-Chair of Bressler’s Women’s Initiative, and a member of the firm’s Partnership Tracking Committee. Practicing in all aspects of complex litigation, Kathryn has litigated, arbitrated, and advised clients in a variety of areas, including employment disputes, securities litigation matters, regulatory investigations, and consumer litigation matters. She is admitted to the Alabama and Florida bars, and she has litigated in more than a dozen states.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience handling sales practice disputes and regulatory matters for national and regional broker-dealers, Kathryn’s recent achievements include victories in high-stakes employment disputes involving financial advisors who were terminated for their sales practice violations.  Kathryn believes that her willingness to take matters to final arbitration hearing or trial, and the preparation that she undertakes to do so, have enabled her to achieve favorable results for her clients – including cost-effective resolutions prior to trial.

In addition to her legal work, Kathryn has served as an adjunct professor in Samford University’s Financial Services Compliance LL.M program, where she teaches students about anti-money laundering laws and regulations.  Kathryn is an active member of the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation and serves as Co-Chair of the Consumer Litigation Committee. She is also a founding member of Southeastern Women in Financial Services (SWIFS).

Kathryn received her law degree from Cumberland School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cumberland Law Review.
