Andrew W. Sidman

Andy is a principal in Bressler's financial institutions regulatory defense and litigation practices. 

He has served as the head of the firm's regulatory defense team, one of the principals in charge of its arbitration group and one of the leaders of its governmental entity account compliance practice. He has been recognized for many years by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers.

Andy has devoted a substantial amount of time to securities industry activities. For about two decades, he was a co-chair of the SROs and States Subcommittee of the ABA's Securities Litigation Committee. He also has been a speaker at many SIFMA annual and regional conferences, as well as client-sponsored seminars.

With respect to firm management, Andy was a member of Bressler's Executive Committee for more than 10 years and the Managing Principal of its New York Office.

Andy is most proud of his long record of successful results, as well as his strong relationships with and passionate representation of clients, and his contributions to the ongoing growth of the firm's securities practice, including the mentoring of more junior lawyers.
